CF Position: Troy, MI and Johnstown, Pa.
Our client has retained us to identify two senior developers/software engineers for locations in Troy, MI and Johnstown, PA. Both are full-time, direct hire positions.
Experience with mapping software and applications is a definite plus ( NAVTEQ and Telogis). This position will involve system and application level design of systems running on various operating platforms, but primarily focused on Windows 2003 Server. The position will require minimal travel within the continental U.S. for project reviews, demonstrations, and team meetings. This position will also assist in project planning and execution, laboratory designs, and prototype development.
Required Skills
- Qualified candidate must hold a BS with minimum of 6 years experience in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
- A familiarity with the following are desirable: vehicle based telematics systems, diagnostics, prognostics, GPS mapping, cellular and satellite communications.
The ideal candidate will posses a strong background in Java design/development for Open Service Gateways, Coldfusion, Java, J2EE, J2ME, and the IBM Websphere family of products AND/OR Microsoft .NET. Experience in Microsoft Office suite and Visual Source Safe required. A strong candidate has background in the development of web based, enterprise level applications that interpret, store, summarize and display large volumes of real time data.
